WELCOME TO OUR EXHIBTITION

Transforming sounds: the melody of Indian music from 1945 to 2025.

Music strives to provide some of the strongest stories of identity. Music and culture as rich and diverse as India bring diversity to its power. "From Tradition to Transformation", this digital exhibit traces the changes of Indian music through eight decades.

From local traditions to global platforms, Indian music is continuously under reinvention and iteration of itself. This exhibition unfolds how folk, classical, filmy, and fusion musical forms have changed throughout technological revolutions and global influences while maintaining their cultural essence.

Enjoy this voyage of music, made through Audiovisual Elements, curated content, trivia, and playlists. This includes the internationalization of Bhangra, spiritual music in the digital age, from Ravi Shankar's influence on The Beatles to AI-generated compositions. It's an exhibition where music looks alive and breathes.  This exhibition is, therefore, researched and has interviews with musicians, musicologists, and industry experts to listen, reflect, and perceive how music becomes a cultural transformation.

We dare you to hear the stories behind the sounds and learn about the magic journey of Indian music.
